CELEBRITIES TAKE ON LEGAL ACTION AGAINST DAILY MAIL
Lots of celebrity legal suits are underway right now, but one tabloid is taking the cake. The Daily Mail is under fire as Elton John, Prince Harry, Elizabeth Hurley, and others are suing.
Its publishing company, Associate Newspapers, is being tried for “abhorrent criminal activity.” The celebrities claim the tabloid used illegal methods to get their info.
Also, the verdict is in on the Alec Baldwin Rust shooting case. Last year cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was shot and killed by the actor while filming the movie Rust. A wrongful death lawsuit was filed against Baldwin and others on set.
A settlement has been reached after Hutchins’ husband Matthew stated the case was dropped. However, the legal agreement remains confidential.
Filming for Rust is set to start back up beginning of next year.
DJ PAULY D PLAYS AT IU FRATERNITY
In some local entertainment news, DJ Pauly D djs an… IU fraternity?
Now, everyone knows that homecoming is the time to go all out. But what we didn’t expect is that a member of the Jersey Shore would be dj’ing an IU fraternity party. DJ Pauly D became famous as one of the stars of Jersey Shore, which ran from 2009 to 2012.
Pi Kappa Phi fraternity was DJ Pauly D’s Bloomington tour stop last Thursday. And looking online, it doesn’t seem to come at a cheap price. It seems that the low end to book the DJ is in the five figures.
Even though it was homecoming, we’re still surprised that a celebrity came all the way to IU… especially DJ Pauly D.
LINDSAY LOHAN RETURNS TO FILM
One of your favorite childhood actresses is back on the big screen.
After nearly 10 years Lindsay Lohan is making a return to acting- and it’s just in time for the holidays.
Lohan’s first major movie role is for Netflix’s Falling for Christmas. She plays the daughter of a wealthy hotel mogul that’s diagnosed with amnesia after a skiing accident.
Romance buds with a man helping her regain memory played by former Glee actor Chord Overstreet. It starts streaming on November 10th. And if you’re a Lohan fan Netflix is gifting you another present… a deal with the actress for three pictures including this one.
