BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) – A large fire caused damage to two homes and destroyed a garage Thursday morning, according to the Monroe Fire Protection District.

Fire crews from multiple agencies responded to S. Cory Lane and found a two-story garage that was engulfed in flames. As firefighters worked to stop the blaze, people were evacuated from nearby homes.

At one point, the garage had collapsed in on itself, and three nearby homes suffered damage. Firefighters said the garage was a “total loss.”

No injuries were reported and fire investigators are still determining the cause of the fire.
