BLOOMINGTON — Temporary nighttime lane closures on I-69 south of Bloomington are set to begin as soon as Wednesday, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced.
The closure is to allow crews to complete in-road sensor maintenance work, and will take up to three nights to complete.
The closures will be on the following days and times:
- Wednesday, September 4 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. (weather permitting): The right lane of northbound I-69 will close between S.R. 37 and Rockport Road near mile marker 114 in Monroe County.
- Thursday, September 5 from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. (weather permitting): The left lane of northbound I-69 will close between S.R. 37 and Rockport Road near mile marker 114 in Monroe County.
- Thursday, September 5 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (weather permitting): The left two lanes of southbound I-69 will close between Rockport Road and S.R. 37 near mile marker 114 in Monroe County.
- Friday, September 6 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (weather permitting): The right lane of southbound I-69 will close between Rockport Road and S.R. 37 near mile marker 114 in Monroe County.
