BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) - IU Dance Marathon raised a total of $3.23 million over 36 hours this past weekend at the Tennis Center.
From 8 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Sunday, members danced, sang, played games, and fundraised for Riley's Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.
Featured events included stories from Riley kids, local country artist Hank Ruff, and singer-songwriter Christian French.
During the marathon, they hit the $50 million mark in dollars raised since they were founded 32 years ago.
IUDM is the second-largest student-run philanthropy in the country.
