Bloomington Police investigating shooting that injured woman

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) - Bloomington Police are investigating a shooting after a masked assailant shot a woman while she was backing out of a driveway on North Maple St on April 13.

The woman saw a vehicle stop behind her when someone wearing a mask got out of the vehicle and began shooting at her before speeding off.

She drove to a nearby business on 17th St. while suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and asked for someone to call for help. The woman was treated for her injuries at a local hospital.

Anyone with any information or possible surveillance video from the area of the shooting is asked to call Detective Jeff Rodgers at (812) 339-4477.
