MONROE COUNTY, Ind. (IUSTV News) - The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a Solsberry man who was killed falling off a tractor then ran over.
The Sheriff's Office says it happened Friday on West State Road 45 near the Greene County line.
A preliminary investigation shows Larry Martindale was riding with the driver of a John Deere tractor along a property when he was thrown off after the tractor hit a large ditch. Police say the tractor then drove over him.
Martindale died from his injuries from the accident.
The Sheriff's office did not say if any criminal charges will be filed and that the investigation remains open.
