1 dead, 2 injured in Thursday morning crash

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) - An early Thursday morning accident on Bloomington's east side left a woman dead and two others seriously injured.

Bloomington Police says it happened just before 3 a.m. on 10th Street near City Flats Apartments, off the 45/46 Bypass. When officers arrived on scene, they found an SUV in the eastbound lanes facing west.

Police say that the car took a serious hit to a utility pole after leaving the road for an unknown reason.

The driver, a 21-year-old woman died at the scene. Two men, a 22 year old and 21 year old were also in the car at the time and suffered severe injuries.
