INDIANA (IUSTV News) - The upcoming total solar eclipse in April will cross over a large part of North America, including much of Indiana.
Thirty rural organizations across twenty-two Indiana counties will receive grants for the eclipse. The Simons Foundation and Indiana University Center for Rural Engagement are gifting rural organizations two-thousand-dollar micro-grants.
All the organizations are in communities with less than fifty-thousand people.
The state estimates that nearly one-million people will travel to the Hoosier state just to witness the event.
