IUPD investigating battery at Alpha Omicron Pi sorority

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) - The Indiana University Police Department is investigating a reported battery at Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, according to Indiana University Public Safety Public Information Officer Hannah Skibba.

Skibba says an IU student met with officers on Oct. 9 and stated a battery had occurred on Oct. 7 around 2 a.m.

The victim had minor lacerations and abrasions to the face. Skibba said the suspect is known by the victim but is not affiliated with the university.

Neither the victim nor the suspect lives at the Alpha Omicron Pi house. The case remains open.
