ISP investigating death of Madison County inmate

ANDERSON, Ind. (IUSTV News) - Indiana State Police are investigating the death of an inmate that was being held at the Madison County Jail.

ISP says an 18-year-old inmate, later identified as Shellby L. Hall, was found unresponsive by correctional staff Saturday morning. Hall was given medical aid by jail staff and first responders but was pronounced dead in the facility.

State police say that an autopsy is scheduled but that no foul play is suspected.
