Everyone on the road (should) have them, and some are more unique than others. Each year, the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles releases its list of rejected custom license plates.
In 2023, the state rejected over one thousand requests. Plates were denied for either being "misleading" or being "in poor taste." Many requests included profanity, sexual inuendos, and some even had political references.
The BMV website shows that custom plates must be a combination of numbers and letters and special characters are not allowed.
