State police conducting death investigation

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Investigators with the Indiana State Police are conducting a death investigation after a request from Monroe County Sheriff Rueben Marté.

According to ISP, sheriff deputies responded to a home on Zikes Road on the south side of Bloomington after a homeowner called to report a man had pulled into their driveway and rammed their truck into the homeowner's car.

When sheriff deputies arrived at the home, they realized the man in the truck was having a medical emergency and tried to use Narcan, but were unsuccessful. The man, who was not identified, died at the scene.
