NEW ALBANY, Ind. —
The Indiana University Board of Trustees voted Friday to approve a design plan to improve accessibility at the IU School of Public Health building.
The project would create a new entrance on the east side of the building, which faces the Eskenazi Museum of Art. The new entrance would feature a limestone wall with glass openings for more visibility, as well as wider doors to meet accessibility requirements.
The other building entrances would also be renovated.
Construction is expected to begin this year.
