City asking for public input on High Street multi-use project

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) — The City of Bloomington is asking residents to attend the second public input meeting for the High Street Intersection Modernizations and Multiuse Path project.

The project, which had its first public meeting last April, would result in a new multiuse path along the east side of High Street between Arden Drive and Hunter Avenue. Existing traffic lights would also be replaced among other improvements within the corridor.

The meeting will take place on April 2, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Christ Community Church, located at 503 South High Street, and include more details on the project and a chance to give input on the design options.

Construction is expected to begin as soon as 2026.
