BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The CVS Pharmacy on College Mall Road is closing permanently on May 8.
The company did not say why the location is shutting its doors permanently, however prescriptions will be sent to the 24-hour location, across the street on East Third Street.
There are three CVS locations within a one-mile radius, including the College Mall location. There is also a CVS branch inside Target.
There will be seven remaining CVS stores in Bloomington after May 8.
The partnership is collaborative-focused and after the change RTVS and The Media School will maintain distinct budgets, and all philanthropic support will remain separate.
The goal of the merger, which was approved by the board in April, is to consolidate the two schools based on socio-economic status and to address concerns over a disparity in recourse availability at the two schools.
The high temperature for Thursday will be a low 34 degrees.
Some IU Health employees will transition to other roles within the company while others will no longer have a position.
While most of the project is complete, crews will continue to work on the new off-ramp from S.R. 45/46 onto Arlington Road.
