Fisherman drowns in northern Indiana lake

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (IUSTV News) — A man died in an accidental drowning at Little Turkey Lake in southwestern Steuben County Thursday night, according to a release from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

DNR officials said Thomas Frazie, 76, of Waterloo, was fishing in a boat at the lake when he fell in for an unknown reason. His fishing partner pulled Frazie back into the boat, but was unable to revive him.

His death was ruled an accidental drowning.

In the press release, conservation officers reminded the public to always wear a life jacket when on or near any body of water.
