Indiana State Police release arrest numbers from Little 500 weekend

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (IUSTV News) — It was a busy Little 500 weekend for troopers with the Indiana State Police.

According to a release, the agency issued 54 citations and 142 warnings for several different traffic violations.

Troopers conducted several Operating While Intoxicated investigations. The weekend netted 13 criminal arrests, including one felony arrest.

Indiana State Police was one of several agencies that responded to the shooting Friday night on the west side of Bloomington.

ISP said that the K-9 unit was deployed two times over the weekend.

Third Street and College Mall Road to close overnight for repairs

There was no immediate information on possible casualties, Washington police said.

Cease and desist is a disciplinary measure used by the university when there is an immediate threat or ongoing investigation.

All right turn lanes will remain open during the closure.

The order comes after ICE has increased the deportations of undocumented immigrants, which according to ICE, has resulted in thousands of arrests.

It happened around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Seventh and Washington Streets, according to Bloomington Police Captain Ryan Pedigo.
