MARTINSVILLE, Ind. — A nine-month investigation by Indiana State Police in Bloomington ended in the arrest of a Martinsville man for possession of child pornography.

Adam Anderson, 42, faces five counts of possession of child pornography, which are level 6 felonies.
According to state police, the investigation began in October 2023 after detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
In January, police executed search warrants on Anderson’s property, including digital devices, where a digital forensic evaluation reportedly found files of child pornography on a cell phone.
Under Indiana Sentencing Guidelines, a level 6 felony carries a sentence of up to three years.
