BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The City of Bloomington is asking for your opinion on a proposed mural that will be placed on the Duke Energy Substation.
The form to provide feedback is open until Aug. 21.
The mural, designed by three local artists, focuses on Maple Heights neighborhood and will showcase native plants, insects and iconic cats, according to a Bloomington news release.
The power substation is at the northwest corner of W. 11th St and N Rogers St.
The mural will be painted during fall 2024 and residents will have the opportunity to help paint the mural at a date to be announced.
It will be the first of five murals to be installed throughout Bloomington. Duke Energy has given a grant of $25,000 to support this project, the city says.
