Interim director named for the Eskenazi Museum of Art

BLOOMINGTON — An interim director has been named for the Eskenazi Museum of Art.

Mariah Keller stepped into the position Sept. 1. She joined the museum in 2016 as editor and was recently the director of creative services.

The previous director, David Brenneman, left the museum last month to take a similar job at a museum in Georgia.

Keller is an IU Bloomington graduate, with a bachelor’s degree in art history.

As interim director, Keller will oversee the museum’s academic research and teaching collaborations as well as day-to-day operations.

A national search for the permanent director of the Eskenazi Museum of Art will be introduced in the coming weeks, the university announced in a news release.
