CLARK COUNTY, Ind. — Conservation officers with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources are investigating after man died while hunting Sunday in Clark County.
According to the DNR, Leslie Burnett, 76, of Borden, was deer hunting in an elevated ladder stand without a harness and is believed to have fallen from the tree. Burnett was found by a family member.
The incident remains under investigation.
Conservation Officers remind hunters to always wear a full-body safety harness when hunting from an elevated platform.
