CASS COUNTY, Ind. — Indiana State Police arrested a Galveston man Wednesday morning for child molesting after a nine-month investigation.
Jerry Norris, 61, was booked into jail for:
- Child Molesting (2 counts), A Felony
- Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, B Felony
- Child Molesting, C Felony
- Attempted Child Exploitation, C Felony
- Dissemination of Matter Harmful to Minors, D Felony
- Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, A Misdemeanor
- Possession of Marijuana, B Misdemeanor
- Possession of Paraphernalia, C Misdemeanor
ISP says the investigation began in March 2024 after a tip that Norris allegedly had improper contact with a juvenile in Cass County.
During a search warrant, ISP said officers located multiple electronic devices, suspected marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
