JASPER, Ind. — An Indianapolis man wanted for a Feb. 2023 armed robbery in Spencer County was arrested in northern Indiana after nearly two years on the run.
Troopers arrested David Lee, 28, during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Lake County.
According to Indiana State Police, Lee had an outstanding warrant for armed robbery.
ISP said Lee is believed to have robbed the Village Hut convenience store on State Road 545 in Fulda, Indiana on Feb. 12, 2023. Lee reportedly pointed a handgun at the store clerk and demanded money.
Lee was extradited to the Spencer County Security Center where he is being held on bond.
