BLOOMINGTON — A person was injured in a home fire early Christmas morning, according to the Monroe Fire Protection District.
Firefighters arrived to the home on West Rogers Road around 3:45 a.m. MFD says heavy fire was coming out of a bedroom window and found a person injured in the front yard.
They were taken to the hospital and last listed in serious condition.

MFD says firefighters were able to get into the home through the front door and had the fire out within 15 minutes.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
