Indiana Gov. Mike Braun issued a statewide order Wednesday, ordering flags to be flown at full-staff on Inauguration Day.
The order overturns President Biden’s order for flags to be at half-staff for 30 days in honor of the late President Jimmy Carter.
Flags will be lowered back to half-staff after sunset on Jan. 20 for the remainder of the month, according to the press release.
Indiana now joins eight states — Alabama, Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas—that have ordered flags to be flown at full staff during Donald Trump’s Inauguration.
The U.S. Capitol will also have its flags at full-mast, House Speaker Mike Johnson announced.
Governor Braun’s Press Secretary, Griffin Reid, declined to comment more on this story.
