BLOOMINGTON — A cyclist was injured after a crash involving a Bloomington Transit bus Tuesday morning.
It happened around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Seventh and Washington Streets, according to Bloomington Police Captain Ryan Pedigo.

The 21-year-old cyclist, who was going east in the bike lane, crashed into the passenger side of the bus turning south on Washington Street.
The man was taken to the hospital with an injury to his lower leg.
The Seventh Street bike lane, known as the 7-Line, was constructed in 2021. The stop signs along route were removed after the project was complete.
However, some of the stop signs are either in the process of possibly coming back, or already back up.
The intersection of Dunn and Seventh is back to an all way stop. A city council ordinance which would have brought back stop signs to other interception narrowly passed in 2023 but was vetoed by then-Mayor John Hamilton.
