According to court documents, state police received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in September 2024, which alleged Wu uploaded six videos on his Google Drive account in July 2024.

During the investigation, state police also found a flash drive and laptop with child pornography in Wu’s on-campus apartment at University East.

“I downloaded some pornography, I thought it was legal, but it’s not,” Wu told state police during the investigation. He also said he had a bad feeling about the videos.

If convicted, Wu faces a maximum of two-and-a-half years in prison, according to Indiana Sentencing Guidelines.
