BLOOMINGTON — Third Street at the College Mall Road intersection will be closed overnight Wednesday as crews work to complete repairs after a water main break last week.
The intersection will be closed starting at 10 p.m. and will reopen at 7 a.m. Thursday. All right turn lanes will remain open during the closure.
The city said emergency repairs made Jan. 24 need additional work to restore the road to its original condition.
“We are grateful to our hardworking Utilities, Public Works, and Public Safety teams who responded swiftly to this water main break, ensuring that Bloomington residents could get back to normal as soon as possible,” says Bloomington Mayor Kerry Thomson. “Their dedication, often in tough conditions, keeps our city running smoothly.”
