BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Indiana University Board of Trustees are holding a previously unscheduled, closed-door meeting Tuesday morning over “initiation of litigation or litigation that is either pending or has been threatened specifically in writing.”
On May 3, the ACLU of Indiana filed a lawsuit against Indiana University over claims the university violated the First Amendment rights of the protesters arrested during the Gaza encampment in Dunn Meadow.
Board meetings are normally scheduled three years in advance, but can be changed for unexpected situations. The next scheduled meeting will be on June 13 and 14 in Bloomington.
