BLOOMINGTON — The Office of Student Conduct received a report Friday of rape that had occurred on Sept. 9 at Delta Tau Delta fraternity on campus, according to IU Public Safety Public Information Officer Hannah Skibba.
IU’s chapter of Delta Tau Delta returned to campus in 2022 after a 5-year suspension from the fraternity’s national headquarters for hazing violations.
Nine sexual assaults have been reported on campus this academic year. The period from the start of school to Thanksgiving Break is known as the “Red Zone,” or the time during the year when sexual assault reports are highest.
